Does anybody know which clips will work on this 8 mm Carcano? Where can I get some?

Thanks

The vast majority of carcanos rebored to 7,92 were intended as single shot rifles. Never seen ...nor will you ever see a specific mannlicher clip for this. I never tried any of my gew88 mannlicjer clips in anyo of them that still had a working mannlicher magazine. Did not relish the thought of 7,92 in a carcano action.

Join Gunboard's and ask in the Italian Firearms Forum. Some folks have successfully modified clips. I have five Carcano rifles in 6.5 and would love to own & shoot a 7.92! Metal had to be removed in the receiver locking area to accommodate the longer cartridge but never heard of one failing.

Fug gunboards. I hailed from the old KCN newsletter days and ran with gunboards until it became armchair commando central. These conversions to 7,92 that were bonafide german wartime done were singleshot. Anything elese is a good chance of junk...or kaboom. I've been collecting long enough to note no existance of 7,92 mannlicher clips for carcanos.
Also note many many carcanos in the german system were used at KZ lagers to free up 98k's for frontline units. But I digress and won't waste your time with this.
