Does anybody have the tools to properly drill a barrel so I can pin my front sight block? Will ship barrel to you and pay.

Thanks

$23 from Brownells. Have one at LGS, work and home. Use them all the time and mailing two ways pays for half the tool. If don't have a jig for squaring FSB to barrel so front sight tower is 100% in line then might be digging yourself out of a hole repeating as sights likely won't have enough adjustment range to get bullet on target at 100 yards. I am hesitant about loaning tools as have usually found people that borrow are believe the internet hype that anyone can install a FSB correctly. Have fixed so many canted front sight blocks for free have found it easier to offer my services to install for free. Send barrel and FSB and will mail back at my expense with guarantee your FSB is 100%. Much easier than getting a dull taper tool back and user who has canted front sight tower. Have gotten three barrels for free this year where builder tried over and over to get FSB on straight finally the taper pin holes were wobbled out so bad the pins dropped through. Had to TIG weld their attempt then start over from scratch. A lot of labor but appreciated the free barrels. Amazing how many people bring off camber front sight towers into LGS though many hit it right first try. If never installed a front sight block suggest getting help from someone local that owns the tools and can help.

Huey is right on FSB installation. This is the jig and tapered reamer I use to install my FSB's. It works for all 3 lengths and holds everything in place nice and tight.
