~S!
Just finished my L1A1 build on a British cut DSA receiver #016 (witch needed some clean up per Gunplumer) I've had this rifle for 25 plus years, and it's never failed me, but it was looking pretty sad.
It's a UE 59 that come with all polymer furniture that I replaced with IWD walnut, but was not happy with there handguard.
So I asked Flypaper if he could help me out, dam if I wasn't impressed! I'm very pleased with his craftsmanship, thinking of replacing all my wood for Flypapers and use the IWD to warm my toes this winter.http://https://imgur.com/gallery/KHrrI

nice. looks like my ironwood brit on enterprise. wrong carry handle. needs contoured black plastic, despite the fact that the indian wood handle looks better (which is why I used one too).

Thanks to all, I still have all the polymer furniture, but thanks to 922r I've had to make changes, so I decided to make it the way I wanted it to look, and still be compliant.
I like the raw wood look, so I use 100% unprocessed Tung Oil. That stuff is so easy to use, even a caveman can do it, lol
The Cerakote "Smoke" paint job.... I'd do it again, I think it's AWESOME
My STG is getting close to being done and I haven't decided on what finish to go with? Traditional or smoke?
