I have a few quick questions about the SLR 5000 Canadian barrels. About 5 years ago I purchased one of these with the modified F/S gasblock. It came with the removable sight ears and 2 screws. I am curious about if the barrels were NOS Canadian production or did Pat, AKA SLR 5000, have them reproduced?
The one I have uses a breaching washer and IIRC the reproduction ones didn't use one.
Also curious about market value on said barrel w site ears and screws.
I have looked the barrel over with a fine tooth comb and can't find any proof marks.
Thanks for any info and help.

These are US made barrels - I believe Green Mountain .
Pat sold them for about $275.00 Ears were about $100.00 a set in a good economy.

^^^^ This. DEZ Arms, not Green Mountain.

Original Canadian barrels simply don't exist out there.

All of the Inch pattern heavy barrels and front end parts were Canadian Long Branch made.

Light barrels are few and far between, but they do exist

Hmm...that would explain why I couldn't find a recognizable Lithgow lot code on my L2 barrel.

Last Longbranch barrel I heard of selling went for something like $700. One wonders where they all went.
