So, what's your point? I know of a couple of ARs with lowers designed to take AK mags

MGI makes an AR that takes AR and AK mags plus has fast barrel change capabilites into almost any caliber from 22 LR to 50 Beowolf. This is their modular eight cartridge package.

https://www.mgi-military.com/image_upload/Select%20Package.jpg

Available MGI® HYDRA® Calibers:

.22 Long Rile
5.56 x 45
.300 Blackout
5.45 x 39 (AK-74)
7.62 x 39 (AK-47)
6.5 Grendel
6.8 SPC
9mm SMG-9C (Colt-Style Mags)
.50 Beowulf®

This package is odd but if live somewhere can only own a riflexible or two on the books it covers all the bases with one serial number. Their rate reduction buffers, adjustible has tubes and other accessories are must have items. I am a dealer on non FFL items, FFL has to go through the store.
