I'm ready to build my first FAL. I haven't decided on a Izzy or an STG58 yet but I have a question.

There is a local dealer selling U.S. Made IEAI receivers for $239 and IMBEL receivers for $250.

Which one? Has anyone even heard of IEAI? I've tried looking details up on the net without any luck.

Thanks,

When the quality is in question as it is in this case, choose Imbel.

An IEAI may be a great receiver, but I would let someone else be the guinea pig.

My bet is that the "local" dealer is Ky Imports. Get the Imbel, it's in spec and has the gear logo to boot. The "IEAI" is an Entre'prise receiver.

Got a good supply of files? A dremel? Lots of time? Get the Entreprise "file to fit" receiver. A gunmakers dream ! ! ! ! ! ;)
