In the too nice to believe I bought it, i picked up this nice 1950 production Longbranch. Came with the sling, both types of bayonets and a Brodie helmet.

Rifle looks lightly, if ever used. I have a 1943 production No. 4 that looks like someone's high school shop project by comparison.

Only quibble is that the former ower put a brass buttplate on. I believe these had steel ones from the factory. Other than that, i'm very happy.

:D Nice tree oh tree.

The brass buttplate will soften the recoil 'cause it's softer than steel. ;)

Did you photograph the bayos and hemlet?

Yeah, I said hemlet...
