The legendary CZ 75's recent incarnation is the P-07 which is in polymer construction.

Chambered in 9mm caliber it is one of the Wonder Nines that have a long pedigree stretching back to before WW2...

It's not made in the USA (distributed via CZ USA in Kansas of all places!).

My only gripe about them is the stupidly high price for extra magazines.

Any folks on here have one of the semi-elusive CZ pistols?? :)

I had one for a year. While it is much better than a GLOCK for me. It only led me to the P-01, which is of course the best pistol ever.....for me.
I found a few other mags worked in the 07 but did not keep the slide back on the last round. One was from a Walther, not sure the model.
Enjoy!

Thanks Air.

I totally agree, the P1 does feel even better. I would have gotten one at the time had I been able to afford it. :)

Here's some more data:

Are you referring to the CZ-75 Short Rail?

Hi Limey, not really just CZ sidearms exactly.

Fugly gun, I'd rather have a 75B. ;)

I don't agree on that, also no Decocker on the lovely looking 75Bs either alas. The 85s have one though. :)

Unless you lost your thumb shooting a Garand, no earthly reason to have a decocker on a pistol..

The biggest thing the P-07 has going for it compared to the 75 is that the 22 conversion kit is available and about $200 less than the one needed for the 75

My 75BD has a decocker... no safety though.

I watched the second video for a few moments, turned it off after you pointed the gun at your face:rolleyes:

I don't think that is exactly correct.

My recollection is that the 85s had an ambidextrous safety, no decocker,

You have your location as Pax Europa, maybe CZeds are elusive there, but I've never found any model of CZed particularly hard to find here in the US (with the exception of the 75 short rail).

They had a decocker as well AFAIK and that was a big difference to the 75.

USA also as well as Europa. In the USA I've been to various states and nearly every LGS there has about one or two CZs but totally dwarfed by the Glocks, SWs, Berrettas, + other more popular makes alas. They only came into the USA officially in 1997 I think. :)

It is also double action, has a decocker, conversion kit to manual safety, is lighter in weight and has the Omega trigger upgrade (nicer trigger pull (but heavier double-action one)).

You Sir know she-ite about what you are talking about.

You Sir, are obviously an expert. With an emphasis on 'ex' and 'spurt'. :)

An old joke (which I'd heard long before you were born), and not well played, as I never claimed to be an expert.

However, you have opened your cake hole, and removed all doubt as to what you are.

TTFN

You are making the accusation of something which is spurious. You *acted* as though you were which is as if you had been.
Yes I made a tiny error about the CZ-85, but no need for the attack (hence my response to that attack).

What I am? That depends who you are I guess. People like you might have a negative view, most do not however. :)

I never claimed to be the expert, I am a jack-of-all trades. Maybe people like you would have it that ONLY masters of knowledge should post videos, or maybe you are just secretly jealous of someone who has a life off this forum and makes videos to show others?

Beats me why you have to be so negative and attack people in the first place.

Whatever keeps you warm at night I guess. :)

I stand corrected on the CZ-85. It does not have a decocker and Limey can sleep well knowing this I'm sure. :)

That's the only negative when it comes to CZ pistols, with the exception of the Scorpion evo 3

My P01 is my favorite pistol & my EDC

The CZ75 and even the CZ75B is a piece of artwork, that you even get to take out and shoot.

Trying to replace that with a plastic anything is deserves life in prison or execution.

Did I say I hate plastic guns ...

I just bought the P07, the P06 is next.
On a side I don't know how I wound up with 2 High noon Holsters ( slide guards) for the P01 but I'm getting ready to sell one. If anyone needs a great holster for their P01

I agree and it seems that steel frame guns are going away fast... I just have a hard time accepting it.
