I was sitting in the basement digging through the pile wondering how difficult it is nowadays to find the old solid wood Aussie SLAZ handguards from the early '60's? Boy, a truck load o' nice ones would sure be nice.

Yeah,

Any SLAZ wood would be nice. I got the NOS SLAZ handguards, pistol grip, and NOS repro carry handle. Just need the NOS butt. Seem like unobtainium.

Thorack, I spoke to Anthony (Croc's) a couple of months back about a project to do a PNG and he told me then that he had NOS Slaz butts, but they were 'in the white'
Might be worth pinging him. Funnily enough on one of the kits I sold last summer I sent it out with an NOS Slaz N stock.

Well, lo and behold, I found one in the pile. A pretty decent set of the solid handguards marked "62" "SLAZ". Cool. Pics up later.

Are you going to offer them for sale? Might be interested-- as would several others no doubt.

I don't know as of yet, they're "recently rediscovered" at this point.
