The Century L1A1 I just acquired has a different Frame Lock than my SGT58

It does have the SGT58 hand guards and bipod, and take metric mags

Other than a FrankinFAL just what do I have??

It looks like it was shot very little since Century assembled it
Thanks

The new Century L1A1 frame lock push button is about 7 o'clock on the left side

of the receiver, it has to be push in an upward motion to break the upper and

lowers

My STW 58 the push button is at the top of the frame at 12 o'clock

Common locking lever variants.

One is called "vertical," the other is "horizontal."

The vertical flavor was popular on original Stg and G1 models.

UK and south-of-equator probably more of the horizontal flavor.

Again, whether you have a good shooter, or another Century turd is dependent on a range report.

UK (and all other SLRs I am aware of) actually have vertical break open levers...
