So my rack grade A2 shoots right up the middle when shot off a ruck. When I sling up in my Turner Saddlery sling and go prone, it shoots 3 feet right at 500 yards. I am a left handed shooter with sling loop on my right bicep.
So I am sure the tension is flexing the barrel and so follows poi. So my question is this, is this normal? What can be done to remedy this?

You need an NM-type freefloat tube that goes under your handguards. See item #1 in the pic here: http://www.accuracyspeaks.com/price-lists/parts-accessories/descriptions.html

It moves the front sling swivel to a steel tube/barrel nut that mounts under the handguards. The liners have to be removed from the HGs to clear the freefloat tube.

I'm going to post a Compass lake build NM upper in the marketplace soon, cannot see irons sights worth a darn anymore.

Has a 1 in 7 twist Douglas barrel with less than 400 rounds through it.
