As some of you know, I have been selling a lot of my Rhodesian/SA FAL parts for a special build. I will miss all of the nice Rhodesian parts and will now begin collecting more for future builds. I believe it has been worth it though I the end, I am pleased with the final product.
This has been a labor of love and has taken a bit of time to collect everything for this build. I would like to thank those that helped me with the hard to find parts.

I began with an optic and as most of you know some of the greatest builds start with a single item. I then found a decent Centry Golani for the sacrificial guts, I would hate to cut up a Galil and this one worked well.

Here are the parts for the build

<a href="http://s1310.photobucket.com/user/ljspoon/media/image_zpswdfqyc1t.jpeg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1310.photobucket.com/albums/s657/ljspoon/image_zpswdfqyc1t.jpeg" border="0" alt=" photo image_zpswdfqyc1t.jpeg"/></a>

I had to modify the Golani by trimming the gas block down, removing the stock, pistol grip, gas tube, trigger guard and magazine catch. Here is what it looks like after the modifications. You will see the new rear attachment piecs that holds a buffer.

<a href="http://s1310.photobucket.com/user/ljspoon/media/image_zpsjwf78ibr.jpeg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1310.photobucket.com/albums/s657/ljspoon/image_zpsjwf78ibr.jpeg" border="0" alt=" photo image_zpsjwf78ibr.jpeg"/></a>

Here is the modified gas block

Here you will see the epoxy spacer that fits into the end of the heat shield, this centers the barrel and allows removal of the internal components.

Very cool build. Not something you see often. How's the trigger pull?

A little slack but not as bad as as an AUG, especially a select fire AUG

That turned out pretty darn sweet. It was cool to see all the parts that go into it. And the optic reticle certainly has a neat factor :whiskey: excellent job!

Wow what an amazing build! Pure dedication!
For a rifle which such a kit and parts are virtually impossible to obtain you score full marks!!

I wonder how many of these rifles or parts kit are in fact in the US?

I think the only part or item you need is a SA made Polymor magazine.
