One of those will tuck in nicely up in the front corner beside the door.

Hard to even see it there, but it does not take up other already utilized space.

Just saying.....:whistling:

That is what I said to myself about 6 carbines ago. Self " there is always room for one more". That too comes to an end.

That should bring you a pretty penny. The last two m-1 carbines we had at our store both brought close to $800 and neither lasted a day on the shelf.

Good luck with your sale.

Is that an original or repro stock?

How can you tell?

You have to check the stock to see if it's a repo or not. Inside the butt plate it should be marked with the part number, what looks like a wagon wheel and another number between 1 and 12. The rivets for the leather cheek piece should be flat and not round. The bottom of the pistol grip should be stamped with RI 3 and or a small crossed cannon on the bottom or the right side of the grip. Inside the stock by the bridge should be stamped OI.

My real, but unfortunately refinished, one!:)

I never liked the stock on those. I had a repro para stock one time and the inability for it to lock open was a killer for me.

I see no such markings on this stock.

I would love to buy it. But alas I be looking for work now. Looks real nice and I've always wanted one.

Good luck with the sale.
