I'm looking at buying a Glock 17 MOS. MOS stands for Modular Optic System. This is available on Gen 4 Glocks and is, basically, a cutout on the top rear of the slide in front of the rear sight. The pistol comes with a series of plates, one which will match the optic of your choice. The potential optics include Meopta, Leupold Delta Point, Docter, Trijicon RMR, Eotech and C-More. Placing one of these optics on the pistol may seem superfluous to some, but getting the dot on target is generally quicker than standard sights. I can still see my sights OK, but things have been getting progressively fuzzy up close. I'm looking at a Trijicon RMR dual illumination (no battery).

Anyone have optics on a pistols other than a specialty pistol? Just curious.

Yeah,

Ive bought a Glock 19 blue box and a Vortex Viper with the Ameriglow suppressor sights. Just over $725 for the whole package. Shoots like a laser beam below 25 yds. I love it.
