Sweet. How does it run?
And what mount is that? I've been pondering one for my own.

I bought a couple of the MKE and have had zero issues with them. The Z-5RS and the Z-5P The curved mags are great for 115 to 147. If you are running the heavier loads don't load up on the straight stick mags. Had no problems with the MKE curved mags and heavy loads.

I had a bunch of OEM stick mags that work great with 115 grain but suffered with the heavier loads like the 147. OEM curved mags are ridiculous so I bought 5 of these to test and found them to be 100% reliable. Wound up buying 16 of them. If you're looking for reasonably priced reliable curved mags, give these a try.

The finish is a course parkerizing so I used 0000 steel wool and oil to buff them out. They look great and run great.

Just curious but why did you choose the Z5K over the Z5P with the 3-lug / 1/2X28 threaded barrel. Been running an SWR Trident 9 on mine and it runs like a raped ape. Kids love it.

They come standard with every MKE.

Thanks guys. The case, mount, 3 mags, sling and cleaning kit came with it. Putting the mount on was a little fiddly.

Just got it today so no idea how it runs. Fit and finish are OK. Not to HK standards though but for $1575 it is fair.

I didn't bother with the tri lug cos I don't have a suppressor. Also got a PCS(Ghilliebear) full sized MP5 clone with a tri lug already.

I am looking to get a Z5RS because I think I will actually shoot it a fair amount. I will sell a DSA Aussie L1A1 first though. I am trying to redice the amount of dust-catchers in inventory.

Does anyone have a Z5RS?

Yes. They are fine little guns.

Did anyone else think that putting on that rail was a pain? With little screws and plates, it was a bit tricky.

I have a B&T for the full size but have not tried it out.... too much digging around in the closet for right now.;)

There is a bit of a trick to it no doubt. I found it necessary to use a very small screwdriver or such to be able to move the threaded blocks as needed to start threading. Of course this is done with the weapon upside down and looking thru the holes.
