Not sure it is acceptable to cross post a link to another forum
But this this is new stuff
Similar to the "Bushmaster ARC folder"

The The Zukhov M1A Folding stock adapter!

Manufactured in 6061-T6 aluminum and hardcoat anodized black, these weigh 2 pounds when mounted in a full composite stock with Zukhov Yugo Stock and Pistol Grip. Lock-up is EXTREMELY tight! No wiggle, wobble, or twist. Fold-forward has an internal catch so it stays forward until you are ready to pull it out and lock it extended. Length of Pull is 12" exactly when fully-forward (nearly an inch shorter than the standard wood or composite stock), and 14 3/4" when the stock is fully extended.

I guess what doesn't appeal to we old schoolers, doesn't mean that the younger crowd doesn't like it. It will sell. I'd prefer a repro version of this:

God that looks stupid.

I'm sure it's quite functional, but it sure does screw up the lines of one of the best looking weapons ever.

To quote Cooper-

" an ingenious solution to a non-existent problem."

IMHO people have been trying to recreate the 1950's Type V folding stock for decades.

That will break your cheek causing damage to your maxillary sinuses.

That's the folding stock I would love to have, It's amazing no one has replicated it, especially with modern CNC equipment and copying machines.
