Changed over to polymer plum set.(Russian) I had been working on a wood buttstock with a longer LOP to replace the original. That project will go forward. Also going to make another out of cutting board material.(Industrial grade from a former shoe factory) It's some kind of polymer.~ssİ

I had the plum on my RPK-74 before rattle-canning it.

I was a plum slut.

Outstanding! Where did you source the furniture set? Did you have to modify the hand guards in order for them to fit properly?

I was fortunate to get mine in the AkFiles marketplace from a member there, but you can get them here: http://www.russiansurplus.net/aboutus.asp

You could place a WTB in this marketplace or AkFiles marketplace.
A little filing on the upper handguard(gas tube) to accommodate closing the retainer latch and a little filing to get buttstock to slide in and all was good. Only file what you need so that you still have to use a rubber mallet to set the buttstock. I am not very " gunsmithy" and had no problem. Ask here if you decide to do it to your rifle. I or someone else can walk you through.~ssİ
