Some may not have seen these, others didn't know they exist.

I have them installed on my HK-91's and have found them superior.

I tried the rubber-insert snapons, but the rubber failed too soon.

Shown is the install, and a shot of some recovered cases.

I don't think HK welded them on as firmly - there's some pictures of 'factory' installations, only a few short stitch welds.

I've seen a number of demilled German G3 rifle kits. Some were done that way, some were just as mine is.

My bud over there said some of them were done by unit armorers, so just about anything is possible.

I think you're seeing the seat of the 'heavy' bipod.

I use a stock German G3 fiberglass slimline.
