Found this at my local gun shop. Was a trade in from my hometown PD, but no PD marks. Rarely shot, has marks on the finish from the cruiser racks.

Oozes sex......400 bucks plus tax. :)

Sweet shotgun and a hell of a price. I've always thought the old Model 37s were cool.

You did good, those go for approx. $700.00+ on Gunbroker when they are even available.

I have three replacement front Raybar sight blades coming in from Ithaca. Current one is extremely faded.

Got it cheap! Seen them for colse to 700.00.
Two on Gun broker close to a grand each.
Traded mine towards a fal many years ago.
One of my many BIG mistakes.
Still on the prowl for one.
Someday maybe .
Consider it one of the best.

Back in the day I had its twin, I need to find the paperwork as even the serial number is close I think. I also had one of the early versions produced for the great Vietnam adventure (4 shot, shorter barrel and short butt) it was still full of "Vietnam grunge" when I received it (and a Stevens 77). I do miss the M37s !!!

I have the short mag tube version and like it a lot. Well, since my gunsmith bud stripped it and we cleaned 40 years of crap out of it! It was a State Fish & Game trade in and has an aluminum tag screwed to the bottom of the grip attesting so. I keep wanting to set up an "Adam 12" two-gun match at my club so I can shoot it and my S&W 14 in competition.:D

Great buy on a great shotgun! The prices on the extended tube 37's have really climbed through the roof lately. On GB that shottie would go for twice the money. Enjoy!!
