I own a DP51 same gun I think just in 9mm

Frankly the reson I am guessing is the weird action they use a Three action gun ... I am also guessing why the guns have not caught on here much due to the weird system ..

I think maybe if you can get that down you will do ok

I have a DP-51C that is fairly accurate. It is as accurate as I am, but I'm not an expert. Man-sized target at 10 yards, and I'm good. I can't make it make one hole for 10 shots, more like 8 or 9 holes for 10 shots (j/k).

I had an issue with extraction early on (I bought it in 1999 or so). I have been shooting brass cased ammo only in it and it seems to be doing good. Steel or lacquered cases caused issues. May be that the chamber needs a polish.

Maybe it's the round, not the caliber. My 357 Sig 229 outshot my 40S&W 229 by far. Same for the Glock 23 I owned, I got rid of all my 40's long ago.

That is my experience as well.
Still have some .40 caliber pistols that I don't care to dump. The 9mm , .357 Sig and the .45 caliber pistols all seem to shoot a tighter group than the .40 Smith and Wesson. The .40 has a sharp snap during recoil and it takes a lot to to get get use to it. YMMV

They're being imported as the "Lionheart."
