Does anyone use the Magpul shotgun furniture on their pump shotgun?

I have several Rem. 870 sawed off shotguns around the house, and would like to train my wife to use them but they all have Remington Wingmaster furniture, which is fine for me but I'm sure the felt recoil will make training for the wife a bit unpleasant.

Do you like the Magpul stuff? Does the butt stock lessen the felt recoil?

How is the forearm? Does it make it harder or easier to pump?

This is the Magpul furniture I'm talking about:

I've got that same shotgun with the same furniture on it now and I really like it.

I got it for the adjustable LOP but the forearm is fine as well, seems less felt recoil over factory

I use the forearm on my duty shotgun. It allowed me to put on a light and QD swivel mount without spending $300 for a Surefire forearm. I haven't had any problems with it.

That's one of the reasons I wanted to go to it. I want a light on my bedroom shotgun BUT I also want my wife to learn how to use them and was hoping the stock design would lessen felt recoil.

A fellow board member is sending me a forearm. I'll buy a matching stock and see how it works. If she can handle it okay, then I'll equip all of them with Magpul furniture.

Thanks!!

I used the same setup and like it alot, it feels good and the adjustable LOP is great for smaller shooters and its fairly quick to setup. I also like the foregrip, it provides a good grip and keeps your hand from sliping off when sweatty or wet. I will be getting another set for an additional shotgun I'm building.

I got one of my 870's rigged up with Magpul now. I just cut the barrel for this one and am looking at Tritium sights for it now.
I'll take it out back this weekend and see what the missus thinks when she shoots it.

Looking forward to the report - I've heard a lot of good things about these, but never tried them myself.
