I was in Cuba last November and while waiting to get into one of their banks to exchange money a van with armed guards comes to drop off cash and on of the guards had a auto loading shot gun I've never seen before. I thought it was pretty neat and I was able to get a couple shots. Thought I would share.

Well, it does look like they sawed-off the barrel, and removed the folding portion of the folding stock.

So, I'd say your assessment holds.

I wonder if grandpa toting that thing ever actually fired it?

This picture was taken near old Havana, crime there is nearly non existent. Crime and it's punishment are treated petty severe in Cuba. It's one of the places I could walk drunk by myself at 4 am and not worry about anything. Especially being an America when the country is near having a more lax relationship after nearly 60 years of being cut off from the world. I was really hoping to see a FAL and kept an eye out but no luck. Lots of revolvers and European style .380's by their federal police.

My buddy and I joked about their van they use to pick up money from their local merchants. It's a 70/80's van with 4 guards that looked liked Barney Fife and his buddies. Their federal police is quite the opposite, all young guys who are very diligently watching everything.
