I have seen some Czech 7.62x51 ammo advertised in SGN that they noted was corrosive. I have seen this notation more than once. I think the Czechs are the only ones who ever loaded corrosive .308/7.62x51.

No, I never bought any to find out.

I think it was Navy Arms that had and advertised it.

I dunno if this is the same stuff, I would call and ask if it is corrosive or not. Pat's Reloading has a good rep and would tell you if they knew.

This stuff was around in the late 80's when I first got into FAL's.
I think it was a dark lacquered case and stamped CZ. Came by the odd case qty like 1150 rnds? It was claimed to be corrosive.
Possibly made in the 70's.

The only FAL I owned at that time was a New Belgian 50.00.
I chose to shoot Portuguese nato for a little more money!!!

This was before the build it yourself $ 400.00 FALs.
The choice or hazards are up to you.

The stuff I have is packed in sealed wooden cases, 880 rounds to the case. Headstamp ZV 69 and 7.62. Brass case. Think I got it from SAMCO (they still advertise it) or Paragon. I've just about finished one case and it has been sure fire and accurate. I only use it in the FAL I built myself and treat the ammo as corrosive.:)
