Okay.............so it looks like O's gonna get his first anti gun hit against
the NFA crowd first with no recourse on our part.

If you have an NFA Trust now you better use it now unless your sheriff will
sign for you. I'm tempted to build a couple SBR's and send them in before
Dec 31.

I'm going to send Texas Governor Abbott a request to have the State Attorney General sign off for folks who have Communist Sheriffs in their county of residence. Texas has a new law that allows hunting with a suppressor and it
would mean many would be disallowed under the Rule. We could file suit under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments possibly for Due Process related to deprivation of the right to Life Liberty and Property as it relates to others who could freely exercise those rights elsewhere in other counties in the same state.

Your Trust should be structured to INCLUDE NFA items, not structured just for them. To do otherwise, like so many have done, is just begging the ATF to do the stupid shit they usually try to do.

If the value of NFA items in the Trust is a fraction of the other holdings it puts them behind the 8 ball when they want to redefine what a Trust actually is. Which they are planning to do.

So few people understand this. Anyone could see this coming if they chose to.

So, what you're saying is that with a single EO it will become impossible to get a trust for NFA 'stuff'? Is it the trust he's redefining?

This has been around since 2013.

The Department of Justice
proposes amending Bureau of Alcohol,
Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives
(ATF) regulations that concern the
making or transferring of a firearm
under the National Firearms Act (NFA).
The proposed changes include: Defining
the term ‘‘responsible person,’’ as used
in reference to a trust, partnership,
association, company, or corporation;
requiring ‘‘responsible persons’’ of such
legal entities to submit, inter alia,
photographs and fingerprints, as well as
a law enforcement certificate, when the
legal entity files an application to make
an NFA firearm or is listed as the
transferee on an application to transfer
an NFA firearm; modifying the
information required in a law
enforcement certificate

The issue surrounds the lack of information on the others on a trust. Obama
decided to force the ATF to require the CLEO sign off which was used to
circumvent the CLEO sign off. Now we are back to where some have Sheriffs or others that will and some that don't. It seems a lawsuit or 2 is in order.

What this is about is H.R. 2578

The bill includes provisions that restrict or prohibit the use of funds for:

the transfer of Guantanamo detainees or the construction of a new facility in the United States to house them;
the enforcement of certain restrictions on firearms; and
preventing states from implementing their own laws legalizing medical marijuana.

If this bill is passed, it will prevent the ATF from doing what it wants to do concerning Trusts.

The bill may or may not make it through the Senate. Supposedly it already has. The website may not have updated.

Obullshit still has to sign it into law, which he may not do
