$7K BNIB - was just there tonight and the owner tried to talk me into a 2nd one, he evidently got a smoking deal, just passing it on if you are in the mkt.

That rifle is like a horse. Even if you get it free, you still have to feed it.

Hmm - my wife loves horses, and we have four that do nothing but eat. Maybe I can talk her into one of these rifles?

I don't have enough land for it to really "run free" though.

"you still have to feed it"

yup - $5 or so every time you pull the trigger, a bit less if you reload.

Yeah yeah - I told her about the sale today. She didn't remember what an 82A1 was at first (I know, right?!?!?). But when I told her it was the 50 cal in the new Rambo movie she liked so much (the 50 cal, not the movie) she said "$700? Let's get it!!!"

Amazing the difference one small zero can make.

Couldn't find it on their website. I did look around and there are a few other places selling them for $7285 - $7300. Must be some kind of special deal going on.

The problem is finding a place to shoot one, unless you live in the boonies most local ranges have been frowning on these big guns for quite awhile:|
