Anyone have any experience with the SEI Muzzle Brake kit for Socom 16?
I am wondering if it is worth the money? Will it dramatically reduce my recoil and muzzle climb?

Thanks,
Lou

They will not dramatically reduce anything except the contents of your wallet.

If you are talking about the SEI Coast Guard brake, it is loud, but it does seem to tame recoil somewhat compared to a USGI flash hider.

No, I got the Cali version of the M1A which comes with the CG brake. I was referring to the brake for the Socom 16. Check it out on the link below.

Art, do you have experience with this system?

Sure do. When I got mine from SEI, it came with two separate screw on devices. Neither were any improvement over what came on the rifle as far as I can tell. One of the brakes is on the rifle in this photo.
