Ordered one to play with. Failed to fire most ammo due to light primer strikes. Called them and was told to try heavy hammer spring and or longer firing pin. They do not say that in their adds. They blame the lowers. I am in the process of that now. I dislike firearms that need tinkering?

I dislike companies that shift blame and don't stand behind their products.

I am sure I can get it running but it will take time and money. I do not have a surplus of either.

They may be right.. Try a NM trigger. The 5.45 AR's have the same issue, duds with standard trigger but never had one with a RR Arms NM trigger.

Ordered an enhanced hammer spring and firing pin. Should be good? Do not want pierced primers

The Commie Block ammo has deep set primers and I am thinking they are pretty stout as well. By changing the hammer spring to get a harder strike is the way to go along with a bit longer firing pin if the hammer spring fails to cure the problem. There are specific firing pins made for this very reason. Once you get it right with good magazines the AR chambered in 7.62 x 39 is a sweetheart. :)

You must NEVER own an M-14 clone or you will go mad.
