There is an ACE stock converter available to convert the slant butt to use with ACE folding stock, the converter, ACE folding hinge and ACE stock will cost plenty! There is also a converter offered by Classics sell for $40 to use AR stock. I made a stock conversion from molding laminated epoxy in a mold made of cardboards! The side folding hinge is a modified UTG AK side folding stock adapter (TL-K7FAD01) by removing the male side threaded stud. Mag is a converted aftermarket M14 mag. The muzzle brake is a modified TAPCO AK74 brake.
M14 mag is bit too long, so most conversions done by cutting a front key slot, I don't like the look and squash the mag at the front a bit, doesn't take much, and silver solder a locking tab! Works well.

.308 AKs are sweet. Have a couple of converted Saigas (16" & 21") myself. I don't believe I have even fired the 16" since I did the conversion.:(

Do you happen to know if the high cap after market mags for the SAIGA 308 converted rifles are generally reliable? Have you tried your 21" one?

I had a pre-ban 7.62 NATO Yugoslavian AK-47 (Mitchell import) that after much grief and soul searching I auctioned off in order to make some basic ends meet...I wish I could replace it, but if reliable/readily available mags cannot be found, well...you know how it goes...

There are good aftermarket mags for the Saiga 308.

They seem to hold up pretty good. All the other SGM and Tapco type are junk

Im not sure if any of them would ever fit the Mitchell's Yugo
