Take pity on a poor 1911 guy. What the heck is this thing that came with a brand new G19? I think it's a disassembly tool but the punch looking thing at "C" is kind of flimsy. "A" and "B" are a mystery to me too. I would sure appreciate some guidance on how to use this.

Well I believe that what you have there is the tool to replace the grip on the back of the Gen 4 Glocks. As A/B would be the longer replacement pin.

Aha! Now I get it. A/B is actually a single removable piece. I thought it was molded into the device and was some sort of short/long punch pin.

So what's the significance of the "H" shape of the device? Is something supposed to fit between the legs of the "H"?

Backstraps fit in the H.

Just when I thought all it took to "disassemble" a Glock was a few rounds of fo-tay.
