Anyone have any FIRST HAND experience with the new PARA's?

I just picked up a practically new (100 rounds fired) Elite Commander stupid cheap, as in Wife forcing sale... Heard/read alot about the brand, but never owned one.:blackeye:

Crazy about my GI Expert. Eats up anything I give it and is accurate too.

Unfortunately they are now owned by Remington. Hopefully they will not end up having the same quality issues like Marlin rifles, which are now made by Remington.

That sux ! I trust my GI Expert with my life. It's the one pistol I shoot every week and has zero issues after shooting it for over 2 years.

Mine was older model and very accurate, beat Every Sheriff in competition in the state of Oregon with it, no bullshit.

That has been my experience as well. I got mine on sale and there was a rebate so it was too good to pass up.

The Para's are not bad 1911's. They have expanded their model line to include single stack and in recognition of market desires, Commander and smaller size pistols. Pretty well made, good customer service, and priced fairly.
