Can anyone recommend a Gunsmith in AZ that can "Bobtail" a 1911?

I'm not quite sure exactly what you mean by the term "bobtail", but if you're looking for a good gunsmith in Arizona, start with Mark Graham of Arizona Response Systems in Surprise, AZ. He's one of the Files members, and his Files ID is Gunplumber. He does VERY good work, and I'm sure that whatever you need to have done to a 1911 is well within Mark's capabilities.

Gunplumber could do it, but I don't know that he does 1911's. Tried Wilson Combat in Berryville? http://www.wilsoncombat.com/new/

Wilson seems to do a very subtle Bob job. Looks like anyone could do the same with a belt sander and a refinish.
Ed Brown sells a Bob mainspring housing, but I believe the gunsmith would need to have the special "Jig" that goes with it. Both items are carried by Brownell's.

I don't really like the looks of the Ed Brown MSH, much prefer the contours of Kimber's rounded butt, don't believe kimber sells them however.
