I'm recieving instant messages with no text for every occasion someone posts a response to the main question on the board.I'm sure it's just a glitch,or am I missing something on the messages?

Thanks,Steve

Go check your user cp, as you may be subscribed to threads that you have posted to. You can unsubscribe from them there. Also check you options, as there is one that will automatically subscribe you to any threads that you post to. I unchecked that since I found it annoying..

Ok, sorry I wasn't specific enough. Go to user cp, and then go to Edit Options. Under notifications, there is one that says "Use 'Email Notification' by default?", and that is what turns it off or on by default. It was set to 'yes' for me by default.. :) and I turned it to 'no' to shut it off. I cannot find a default option to turn off automatic subscription to a thread when you create or reply...

Odd to say the least.

Edit your user options from the user cp as described above, then go to each thread you posted in that had the 'email notification' turned on and turn it off. You'll have to do that for each thread you don't want to be notified about.
