Here in Eastern time zone it is -4 from GMT in summer.
Now it is 12:36 Local 16:36 GMT your clock says 17:36 GMT.

Had the same problem. Go to "user cp" --> "edit options". you can change the time stamp back to GMT -5:00 hours.

The GMT time is not right on the board . It is one hour off from GMT. If you listen to WWV on short wave or go to USNO Master clock time it is 1754 the board says 1854 GMT . Yes I can make the local time right by using the wrong time zone in my user cp but the GMT time is GMT time and it is not set right on the board server. Trust me I work with GMT every day at work. I know it is confusing with Daylight savings vs Standard but if the GMT clock you are adding to or subtracting time from is not set right you wont get the right time . The choices on the user CP dont have one for Eastern Daylight savings time. It is -4 for EDST -5 for EST.

Greenwich Mean Time
