How does it work?

Does it move back pushed by gases expelled as a bullet passes the gas port? If so, can you move it by hand?

Is your stock held together by hot glue & bed liner paint?

Thank you for the reply and link. I will get another piston and related parts and answer my question.

You mean Standard CAI issue?

Yes...lol

Years ago I pulled mine apart to strip that crap off from the stock & found a nasty crack that had been hot glued on the lower left of the forend. Another glue patch on the upper handguard. I put it back together and back into the safe it went.

Thank you for the reply and link. I will get another piston and related parts and answer my question.
