And it begins, I am looking for all of the real AK 74 stuff, gas block, front sight block, muzzle brake, safety, rear sight leaf. I can buy a parts kit to get all of this but I would rather only buy what I need. If any of you guys have any of this stuff I am in the market.

dont forget gas tube and furniture. you might as well buy a kit and sell whats left over. youll come out ahead and youll have a finished rifle pdq. oh...and dont forget a tapco trigger.

I literally just finished one a few weeks back
Yes you can buy all of that cheaper than a kit.
Furniture, used Bulgy handguards and pistol grip, Nato length stock $60
Gas tube $20
AK74 FSB/Muzzle brake $75
Handguard retainer $12
Gas block $15
Sight leaf $20
$202

Screw 922r, who in the hell will say you are not compliant, that is more of a mfg/importer hassle than end users,, Been to a ton of ranges... never even seen or heard of ANYBODY EVER having someone inspect their rifle and say "you are not compliant" lol

But!!! http://www.akfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212521
Cant beat that lol

Well thanks to E bay i found everything i needed for $200.00 bucks, now my next question is other than removing the front sight block and gas block what else has to be modified to accommodate the new lower hand guard holder, gas block and front sight block. The stuff i found on E bay is brand new, i couldent be happier.
