If you have never tried the 7.5 Swiss K31 do your self a favor and move it to the top of you list of to do's. Just viewing the craftsmanship will fill you with respect for the builders and users. Every detail down to and munitions and reasoning behind the rifle speaks quality...

Nice looking Rifle! I have looked at the K31, but I don't feel like adding another caliber right now.

Love mine too.

Back 10-12 years ago I bought one through a receiving dealer. He split his shop with another FFL. The other guy specialized in moderately high end hunting rifles. He said he hated to have the crappy milsurp piece crapping up his store.

Idiot...

I have a few, but cannot shoot them because of bad eyes. That front sight just fades into obscurity... Did shoot mine in a couple of obsolete rifle matches and did pretty well with it about 12 years ago, back then I could still see the sights.

They are very well made rifles.

I pass through Columbia twice a week. You may need to allow me to stop by and pick one of them up so I can store it for you.
;)

I've been wanting one but the wife has instituted a one in; one out policy on buying firearms. I can't seem to find anything I want to get rid of.

I love mine. Accurate, well cared for, well made, sweet trigger and ergonomics, top quality and great surplus ammo. I want to stock up on GP11 before it runs out in a few years. I'd like to buy another this year. And another. And another.

You will not find a better surplus rifle and for the price they sit at right now($300-$400) it's a huge bargain.

Also for reloading purposes these rifles take .308 bullets so that may simplify logistics for some.

That's a beautiful K31 OP! I love mine- a 1944 K31 with walnut, shoots much better than I do! Very well-built, interesting rifles that seem to be becoming pricier.

Every time I have bought one the price has been $100 more it seems.

Yes they are, but hagar, there's a cure for that sight issue too:

I have always been impressed with the rifle and accuracy.
