Have a speed-feed butt stock (and syn forearm) for a Mossy 500. Value?

Not sure of the value. My Mossy 590a1 came with one and I don't really care for it anymore than a regular, non ammo holding stock.

It seems to eject one of the shells on the right side of the stock about 75% of the time when I fire it. Just one shell, the second one on that side and the 2 on the left side stay in place no problem.

One of the problems with the speed feed appears if it is left in a vehicle. Apparently the stock and shotgun shells react with heat, as in left in a car during the summertime. The shells expand and the stock shrinks slightly causing everything to bind up, making it almost impossible to get the shells out to reload. So, as long as you don't plan on using it as a truck gun, you should be fine.

I prefer the side saddle rigs myself.

Brownell's have them for sale at $95 without discount. YMMV
