Didn't matter,...........the sale ended at midnight. Had fifteen minutes to go when I saw it and it still showed available.

Their sales just about always run just a tad longer than what they say. I tried to buy 12 boxes but seven was all they had showing. According to my post time it was after midnight when I bought mine.

I got tired of paying too much for loaded buckshot so I started casting and loading my own.

Me too. Cast #1 buck and #4 buck. I can't tell the difference on the pattern board.

What hardness are you using for buckshot?

I use wheel weight lead, 10-12 BHN air cooled. Use a Lee mold.

Ditto what he said above. I save my lino for rifle and my pure lead for BP. To hard to get either, and these days, it's getting harder to come by good WW.

That's the truth. Seems like a good 30-50% are zinc anymore. I guess I am lucky the local salvage yard lets me bring those back and swap them out. I fear the days of cheap casting are rapidly coming to a close. Thanks for the info.
