I thought that the MSAR rifles had a reputation for being unreliable, did they correct those flaws with the last upgrade?

MSAR had their problems and probably still do:facepalm: however along the way many good rifles were produced including my MSAR 556 gen 3.

This rifle has been flawless with brass case ammo. (never ran steel with it)

HDH.

Both of mine have never missed a beat, a gen 2 and 3, with the exception of a broken scope-the ajustment inside broke- on the gen 2. Microtech wouldn't help me at all. :(
The 3 has been run quite hard. My only complaint, as is the norm with pup's is the horrific trigger pull. Not much can be done with that...it is what it is.. :aug:

They have that reputation. Both mine are great through about 2K each of steel case.

I check the areas that others say to look for but have not seen any problems.

My guess is 2-5% of rifles were big problems but the rest are good.
