And here I thought I was the only one with a Gov't .380.
When it's hot, I'll carry mine while the bigger guns stay at home.
I'll try to get a pic posted, I may have to email it to someone and have them post it for me.

DJ, my thoughts exactly, I still have the opinion of, the .45 is king, but I can carry the 380 gov model holstered in a pocket, and wearing shorts and tank top, you cant tell at all.

Mines loaded with 95 gr Winchester SXT's, I carry it behind my right hip in a Don Hume #60 JIT slide holster. I had Stitcher make a single magazine carrier that sits on my left hip.
Have I ever mentioned that Stitcher does some damn fine work?

I wanted a Pocketlite but couldn't decide on blued or stainless.
Naturally, there was only one solution.

Great little pistols. The stainless one gets regular pocket time in warm weather. My only complaint is that there aren't enough holster options. I'd really like to find a decent IWB for it.

Olgunner, check with Stitcher. I'll betcha that he can make you a dandy IWB holster for those guns. And a magazine carrier. I sent him one of my magazines to use for a pattern.
They are great little pistols.

olgunner, nice pix.

There would be interest in a Manure Shovel if it was made by Colt. :D

Well, here is the nickel Government model that I DID have. I detest nickel, but got the Colt at a good price & helped out a friend in the process. I kept it a year or so & ended up trading it for a really nice S&W Model 48 22 mag. at a local fun show. Was a nice little piece & shot well. Just not my thing.

Thanks guys, I didn't figure on many colt 380's, but I figured a few would be CC-ing the new dinky sig 380.

Colt Mustangs are great little pistols. I can't remember the details about the upgraded recoil springs for these or who makes them. I would rather have the shorter butt model for carry purposes but the Mustang is so small it hardly matters. I understand that Colt is making these again and I hope it works out for them.
Ping pong paddle pickle fingered guys will not be happy with the size but the smaller handed guys and gals will find these very comfortable. They are surprisingly accurate and fun to shoot.
Something I would love to see Colt resurrect is the 1903 Colt Pocket in .380. The price on good condition to excellent samples is north of $1,200, if you can find one. Then there is the Colt 38 automatic that is basically a scaled up 1903 Pocket. Love those old Humphrey Bogart movies! :)
