Hi folks,
I got an aditional lisence for my FN and Belgian Army collection. I can also buy German fire arms.
So, I got my hands on a MG34 DOT45 with Israeli stamps on it. Love it!
Can't wait till the zombies are back :rockets:

I'll take some pics tomorrow, it's raining hell here.

Also, if you like "find Wally"-game. Try to locate the Thompson and scorpio, M2 Carbine and a strange Uzi. You are never to old to play games.

Very nice collection!!! I absolutely love the MG34! I had a full auto 1944 MG42 that I bought 'cus I couldn't pass up the deal, then later sold it 'cus I couldn't pass up the profit margin. But if it was an MG34, I would have kept it!

Is that a vertical front grip on the UZI??? or is it on the gun behind it?

Does your license allow you to take them outside and play with them? Hopefully?

Incidentally, are transferable machine guns as expensive in Belgium as they are over here? Does the licensing procedure allow you to buy whatever you can find? Or are you faced with the same limited supply we are?

That looks like a nice addition to your collection.

How do you like shooting the MG-34 compared to the MG-42? Do you think that the slower rate of fire on the 34 makes it better or worse than the 42?

The uzi has a Izzy military spotlight on it. It has indeed a vertical frontgrip.

The MG42 is a manical insane instrument from hell. I can't hit much with it but i can imagine the psychological effect of the beast.
The MG34 shoots better but i can't get used to the offset sights.
I prefer the MAG58 on a low setting. If you sqeeze one or 2 round burst out of it at a high rate, you hit more. Compared with the Teutonian ironing board on coke&speed(10 rounds a second), my MAG58 is a snail...

And yes, we can fire it but not on a regular base. (Ammo cost a ton!) Guns are cheap. About 1000$ for the fullauto MG34

The guys that fought against them called them 'woodpeckers' due to the high rate of fire.

THAT is how I WISH my 'man closet' would look, if I want a man cave it would need to hold tanks and planes and such:wink::wink:

Observation.... I always get a bit bent when I see stuff like german weapons being used by the Izzies in their conquest of Palestine IN THE CONTEXT of everyone hated the Nazi party and germans in WW2 BUT had NO ISSUES with USING THE SAME DAMN WEAPONS against THEIR supposed enemy.... a little bit hypocritical in my book.

ANYWAY- back to topic... PACO- REALLY only like $1000!!!?!?!?!

Sheeeit a fully transferable MG34/MG42 HERE in the 'going downhill' USA would run like $30,000 and possibly more.... last MG42 I saw went for like $25K......

DAMN you have nice stuff, another round...:bow::beer::bow::beer::bow:

PACO, WOW!
I recently had an opportunity to peruse a MG34 manual. I could not fully understand the operation-recoil with a rotary bolt? Maybe you could show us some internals that would help. Also showed a drum mag for loose cartridges rather than the mag that took belted ammo. This required an alternate top cover/feed mech. Really appreciate your posts.

Those prices (in US dollars?) make me sick! Well actually, the prices here (and the 1 year wait per transfer) make me sick, your prices make me jealous :). I paid $18K US for my MG42 (and that was a smoking deal in 2012), but I did sell it a year later for $28K. I actually found it to be very accurate, and on the laffette (MG3) tripod, just a breeze to shoot.

I will not post FA clips. It might bring some green guy's up to more bad idea's and more restrictions. We can testfire, not funfire.
I write for a gunmag so i can easely proof doing research for my articles.

My MG42 has some serious play on all part compared to the MG34.
The tripod will increase accuracy but limmits the traverse at short range.
We (collectors) can walk in a gunstore and get out with 10 machineguns in an afternoon, no waiting, no cool-off.
But, you got several visits of the police checking your stuff (but no problem with that)
