WTK: Can anyone tell me what the fair market value of a TRUE Remington M24 marked rifle is. Weapon has approx. 50 rds down the pipe. No front site, barrel has been threaded after purchase, pic rail attached after purchase. Rifle is marked M24 7.62 NATO on the barrel, has the HS precision adjustable stock. Nothing special about the hardcase. Has original manual. Firearm was purchased NEW direct from a Remington LE dealer as an over run (rifle only not the complete sniper weapon system). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

krist, i thought you were talking about the other remington 24, a close copy of the browning baby 22rf takedown. later made in a simplified form as the 241.

This M24? http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/01/foghorn/remington-to-raffle-off-2000-ex-military-m24-sniper-rifles-at-shot/

If so I would value it at somewhere between $2000 and $5000 depending on accessories, Just sayin. They made thousands of these....

I sold one for $3500. It was in a nice Pelican case.

That's right in the middle then. The Pelican cases are worth $$$$. Bare M24 rifles in a cheap hard case are going for $1900. Start adding rings, mounts, cases, slings... and the price goes up. Add a scope and the price really goes up.
