Hey guys,

I just sent an email to German Sport Guns asking them if they plan on producing a copy of the German Fallschirmgewehr 42 spaete Version.

I know that they are making very close copies of the StG44 and the MP40, which I might add to my collection still.

As far as things go with the FG42 spaete Version, I always wanted to have one, and if they could make one in either .22LR or .22WMR, it would be awesome.

Got a reply from GSG. No plans to make an FG42 in the next 2 years.
The resources of GSG are tied up on other projects.

Good news, they got a replica of the German machinegun 42, not sure if it will be available on the US market though.

From the way the current US laws are, it can be imported only if it is in .22 caliber. Any center fire caliber is not eligible for importation.

Also, a totally different feed system would have to be designed as rim-fire cartridge can not use a push-through type belt feeding system which is utilized on the MG42.
