If you need an excuse to get one, this would be it. Unfortunately I paid way more for mine...

At that price I am thinking of getting a second one, just because.

Now it is even more like the original since its ammo is almost unobtainium too.

Seems to be ligit, spoke to Trevor and also spoke to American Tactical on the rebate. American Tactical shows the STG44 out of stock and inventory count at Firearms for sale shows inventory or 226. They probably bought them all at a discount due to the slow sales of .22cal rifles due to the ammo problem. This too will pass. American Tactical has 10 and 25 round mags available as well as scope mounts. Check out their website.

they're close enough to me that it doesn't matter ... I can pay them a visit if things go South ..

and Yes ... I ordered one ... don't need it, so when I sell it the price will be high, 'cause it's NOS ...

I opted for the Claro walnut option ...

I'm glad you got it...stash it away for a rainy day or enjoy it at the range.

I wonder if that is legal in CT. since the "New" Law went into effect?

Wow, these things sunk like rocks in value. I just bought my brother one last October as a birthday gift and cost for my FFL was $440 delivered. Sheesh.

Yeah, I don't think they sold like ATI had hoped. Neat little rifle and the wooden case is cool, too. I picked one up when they first hit the market. Wish I would have waited now.

The ability to buy cheap .22 ammo has a lot to due with the selling appeal, this to will pass

Yesterday when I check the "Firearms for Sale" website listed in the first post, it said there were 188 units left. When I checked it this morning, there are only 10 left! Either a whole lot of small orders have come in or some one made a large quantity buy.

I saw that and got my two. IMA has mag pouches so you can look the part at the range.

I actually got one with some nice figure in the wood butt ... it's a great deal @ $250.00 ... No Doubt ... ... it's worth that as a "wall hanger" ... neat gun ... !!!

and ramiller is correct ... .22 ammo will be back !!!

seems to be a good company to deal with ... they're "Johnny on the spot" to answer any questions or concerns ...

The STG44 .22 mags are just a little tall of the IMA mag pouches. It is the "22 tower" on the mags that is causing the problem. I have two sets of them. I have thought about putting the mags in the pouches then soaking them in warm water for a while to form fit the canvas to the mags.

They also have a "drop" bag this is cool.
