Anyone have one of these yet ? or have you shot one ?

I've been wondering when the would do this, since they have 9mm and 40. in these models.

I defiantly want one. Why in the hell didn't they call it a G45 ???????????

I have a G-34 and love it. The extra barrel length turns a +P into a +P+. Very accurate. I used to have a G-21 and hated it. The slide was much bigger than it needed to be. I will look at a G-41 though.

While I am a fan of the 1911 and own several- IMO another 1911 manufacturer would be like having another AR-15 manufacturer.

Have handled the G-41 (have not fired one) and it feels pretty good in the hand. Glock 21 SF frame I believe with a narrower .45 slide atop. Don't know if I'm going to buy one as I'm committed to my Glock 21 but I doubt you'd regret picking one up. I've heard much better things about the 41 than the 42 as far as QC and function goes (the 41s are all mfg'd in Austria while the 42 is US made). I do own and like the 42 but have heard horror stories from others who have had trouble with their 42s.

Glock labels their models according to Mr. Glock's patent order's (hence Glock 41 is the company's 41st patent, not 45th).
