There used to be an ad in shotgun news for a slipon threaded adapter to mount a suppressor on non threaded rifle barrels. I see oil filter adapters but I'm looking for a legal solution.

Any leads?

Most modern suppressors are manufactured to very tight tolerances. I would be reticent to apply a 'slip on' adapter and be comfortable it would align the bore axis to the axis of the expensive internals of your can.

Oil filters, not so much.

You can always have the thing threaded then have a thread protector made that will match the barrel. Even a derp like me running a lathe should be able to do that.

A fellow that posts as "WATom" on sub guns threaded a couple of barrels for me recently. I was happy. I paid $75 for a 10-22 barrel and $85 (I think) for a New England Firearms Carbine. If you are interested drop me a pm and I will dig out his contact information.

A simple google search shows tons of them available.
If you need the barrel threaded for a can let me know.

Otherwise...........here's what you would have found with a simple search.
