My dad used to have a "Churchill" semi auto shotgun made by Howa Machine Works, if memory serves. I cannot find any info online or pics. I am probably not remembering the correct name or misspelling something. Any info to share?

Thanks!

EDIT: can find HOWA but cannot find any models from the mid eighties to mid nineties available. Who knows specifics to look for?

Going on memory here, so do not carve this in stone. IIRC, Howa manufactured some if not all of the early Weatherby-badged semi-auto and pump shotguns. Also, insofar as I know it remains the sole source for Weatherby Vanguard bolt guns. One upon a time, I owned a late 60`s Charles Daly made by Miroku. Very fine OU that I foolishly sold. Howa also made son of those under contract, I believe. Very likely same deal with the Churchill. All of these Japanese actions are of excellent quality.

Mystery solved. It was a Churchill 12 gauge imported by Kassnar. Took some digging but google images solved it. Thanks to all for reading!
