Hi All
I just got in from my local Academy sporting goods store. They have the Sig 556R rifle on sale $999.99 Limited to stock on hand I would guess. Looked like a deal though.

Also had a bunch of the Tristar C100 pistols. Turkish made copy of the Cz75 for $399. Anyone used one of these? The compact one looks like it might make a decent truck pistol.

Prices are crashing on the SIG rifles.

You already have an AR?

Just a heads up incase anyone was looking.

Where I live, in Orange County, SoCal, the only place I know of that sells the Sig 556R, wants @$1400! And it is neutered as per our Demokrat majority's philosophy...."Bullet Button", 10 round mag, pinned folding stock....and "only" $400 over what you are paying.

Regular price is $1250.ish as I recall. That's why I thought $999.99 seamed like a deal.

The issues have been worked out from what I understand in the new ones? I didn't get it but thought about it for a hot second.

$999 is a pretty good price.

Paid $1200 otd for my Gen 2 at a LGS. It's ran flawless with both surplus & tapco mags. Mine came with the Sig CP-1 3x glass on it & no irons. It was disappointing to spend that much and not have irons.

The trigger pull is pretty long but can be adjusted. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

It's a nice weapon & I'd recommend it(Gen 2) to anyone looking for an alternate style of rifle that uses the 7.62x39 round.
