I picked up this very nice condition Smith and Wesson .32 cal. Single Action with it's original box at a local gunshow today. I thought I was done buying S&W's, but I'm kind of a sucker for the little .32's!:biggrin:

1 1/2?

Yes, a later model. The first two models of the S&W 1 1/2 were hinged on the top like the #1's and were rim fire. This is the third type with the top break action at the rear sight and also began the center fire .32 cartridge as well. I don't know why I like them, maybe it's Bush's fault.:D

I'd probably like a model 3 better, though.

Cool! Its like a baby Schofield! Do the cartridges get ejected the same way as a Schofield? I'm not particularly fond of .32's (granted, I don't have any experience with them) but I like that one a lot

Yep, they eject upon opening the barrel fully.

That looks just like the $50 I lost. Let me check. Yep. Number matches.
