Hey guys,

anybody on here using a SIG 1911 in .22LR ?

If so, what do you like about it and what do you not like about it ?

I got one expressly to put a can on.

It likes high speed ammo, short strokes on subsonic.. Trigger could use some work. Fit and finish are excellent. Grip safety is plastic, so is the MS housing.

If the can went on, would it give enough 'back pressure' to run the gun on sub-sonic?

Or do you not have the can yet?

Friend of mine has one. He asked me to remove the magazine disconnector for him.

Sights (plastic IIRC) require really tiny hex-wrenches.

I didn't pull it all the way apart, just the mainspring housing. IF it otherwise uses standard 1911 parts then cleaning up the trigger should be straightforward.
